Our purpose built conference and event facilities offer comfort and flexibility in both layout options and equipment. We can cater for 6-220 guests and all of our venues are conveniently located near the main entrance of the hotel on the ground floor, with easy access to the restaurant, bar, lounge and the rest of the hotel. Wheelchair accessible and free car parking directly outside the hotel.

The Turnbull Room - Our spacious, air conditioned Turnbull Room can cater for up to 220 guests and can easily be divided into two smaller soundproof spaces, ideal for smaller meetings and incorporates a breakout room. A very versatile meeting room, and the perfect location for a large, lavish affair. It has a private entrance, its own bar, and a state of the art sound system.
MacKinnon Private Room - Furnished to the highest quality, the MacKinnon Private Room is the perfect venue for the smaller meeting or training event. Located within the renowned MacKinnon Room Restaurant, this secluded, initmate venue is ideal for private dining, with mood lighting to create the perfect ambience.
MacKinnon Room - With spectacular views and sleek interior our renowned MacKinnon Room Restaurant is ideal for that extra special event and occasion. This stylish modern restaurant enjoys expansive views of Lake Te Anau and the Fiordland Ranges. This is the hotel's main restaurant, therefore over summer it is normally fully booked for evening meals, in the winter it is available by negotiation in the evenings.
The Explorer Bar & Lakeview Terrace - For a pre-dining drink, or tapas, a light meal or an afternoon tea, The Explorer Bar and Lakeview Terrace is the perfect place to soak in the surrounds, and the spectacular uninterrupted views of Lake Te Anau. As this is our house bar we are unable to offer this as an exclusive venue.
BBQ/Poolside - And for the touch of Kiwi the poolside barbeque area is perfect for those late, warm evenings and a dip in our heated outdoor pool.
Distinction Te Anau Hotel and Villas offers an extensive outside grass and manicured grounds with lake or garden views, which make it a striking setting to be utilised for outside conferencing, team building activities, and dining.
